Utensils
1 Frozen Metal Bowl
2 Frozen Beaters

Primary Ingredient
1/2 cup Heavy Cream or Whipping Cream (chilled)

Secondary Ingredients
1/8 tsp Vanilla
2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
3 Tbsp "Other Cream" ~ optional

You can choose what you want to use as "Other Cream" such as Sour Cream, Plain Yogurt or Cream Cheese. You can adjust the amount to your taste: 2 Tbsp to 1/4 cup (4 Tbsp) should be fine.

Preparation
Put the metal bowl, beaters and carton of heavy or whipping cream in the freezer to give them a good chill. Leave the carton of heavy cream in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Be sure to check on it every 5 to 10 minutes and give it a good shake to prevent it from freezing.
Mixer and frozen mixing bowl with whipped cream
Plain Whipped Cream
Mix the 1/2 cup of chilled cream in frozen metal bowl with frozen beaters until the cream starts to stiffen slightly.

Add the vanilla and mix until peaks just start to form.

Add powdered sugar and mix until peaks form. Do not over mix or it will become like butter.
Fancy Whipped Cream
Blend secondary ingredients ("other cream", vanilla and sugar) together in a separate bowl.

Mix the 1/2 cup of chilled cream in frozen metal bowl with frozen beaters until peaks form. Do not over mix or it will become like butter.

Fold whipped cream into bowl of "other cream" mixture and mix until blended. Do not over mix.
