The Giamarese family has raised fruits and vegetables on their farm since 1941.
Jim and Sue are the third generation at this location in East Brunswick. They have worked hard over the years, and have
been recognized locally and nationally with many awards.
Through their hard work and dedication they would like to share their farm with the next generation, and to teach these
children an appreciation for the land and agriculture.
Your ½ hr. (approx) educational hayride tour consists of the following:
Farmer Jim makes 4 – 5 stops along the way to explain how certain fruits and
vegetables are grown, with hand on experiences when possible.
One stop will be with the farm animals (horse, pigs, turkeys, chickens, ducks, swans,)
Pumpkin picking patch (1 sugar pumpkin for each paid child, approx. 2-5 lbs)
(Additional pumpkins may be purchased by weight)
1 Educational coloring/workbook plus 1 apple for each paid child.
The cost of the educational tour is $ 6.00 per child with a minimum of 15 children for each booked group.
(Lesser amounts are possible but will be charged at the 15 minimum)
We can accommodate groups up to 90 children per hayride, with larger groups being split in
half on two separate wagons. Teachers and staff are free, but other adults will be charged
$3.00 for the hayride. We give priority to all the children so they can fill the wagon first,
and welcome adults as their supervisors. We reserve the right to combine smaller groups together,
but will try not to, as we know group would like to stay together.
We also have a Farm Market with additional fruits, vegetables, baked goods jam,
ice cream, mums, cornstalks, straw bales, Indian corn, gourds, and other fall decorations.
Hope to see you at the Farm,
Farmers Jim, Sue and staff.
